Eastern Christian Academy is a Christ-centered homeschool umbrella and co-op ministry that exists to support, equip, and encourage families on their homeschooling journey. We believe education is most impactful when it is rooted in faith, guided by God’s Word, and supported by a loving community.

Our Mission

Eastern Christian Academy seeks to be a supportive Christian community for homeschool families by providing:


  • Prayer and encouragement for parents


  • Fellowship and academic guidance


  • A sharing of intellectual resources


  • Spiritual, social, and academic enrichment for students


Whether you're just beginning or are a seasoned homeschooling family, our heart is to come alongside you with practical support and meaningful relationships.

What Does It Cost?

Our Fees

  • Application Fee: $25 per family (covers the cost of background check, can be applied to umbrella/co-op fee for accepted families who already have current background checks on file with Eastern AG)


  • Umbrella Fee: $100 per family per year (includes beginning-of-year consultation, mid-year review, end-of-year review, access to peer support)


  • Co-Op Fee: $100 per family per semester (contributes toward expenses for weekly meetups)

Our Schedule

Co-Op Weekly Meetups

Location: Eastern Assembly of God (Baltimore, MD)

Day & Time: Thursdays, 9:30 AM – 2:00 PM


Fall Semester:

Thursdays, September 4 – December 11, 2025

(No class November 27 for Thanksgiving)


Spring Semester:

Thursdays, February 5 – May 14, 2026


Sample Weekly Schedule

9:00–9:30 Arrival & Fellowship

9:30–10:00 Group Chapel (Worship, Prayer, Devotional)

10:00–10:15 Snack & Bio Break

10:15–11:15 Class Session 1

11:15–12:15 Class Session 2

12:15–1:00 Lunch & Social Time

1:00–2:00 P.E., Group Games, or Optional Tutorial Support


Note: Families may opt to attend from 9:30 AM – 12:15 PM only if preferred.
